It has newer flash chips (BiCS5 vs BiCS4) and an updated firmware, which combined offer improved sequential and random read/write speeds. For PC gamers, there’s also an updated Game Mode 2.0 utility that’s designed to tune the SSD for better performance during gaming sessions. The SN850X is one of the best SSDs you can buy for your PS5 but you’ll want to add your own heatsink for only $10.
50% Off Sanodesk 48″ Electric Standing Desks

Amazon is offering 50% off select Sanodesk 48″x30″ and 55″x28″ standing desks. These are 3-stage desks than can go lower than your typical standing deck, from about 24.6″ to 50.2″. According to reviews, they are actually Flexispot E5 desks that have been renamed (even the box has the Flexispot E5 model number written on it). Flexispot desks are highly rated for their price. They offer similar range and adjustability options as way more expensive Jarvis and Uplift options, and the motor itself is also of comparable quality. At under $200 for both the base and tabletop, this is a steal.
Meta Quest 2 VR Headset + 2 Games for $349
This Black Friday deal is still around for select zip codes (it is in stock for us in the SF Bay Area). The Oculus Quest 2 VR headset is normally $399.99 for the 128GB model. Walmart still has it for $50 off and two bonus games: Beat Saber and Resident Evil 4. Beat Saber is easily the best-selling VR game ever and, in my opinion, the best reason to jump to VR. It also makes an incredible fitness tool. Resident Evil 4 is probably the scariest game you’ll play in VR right now. To get both would easily run you over $50.
If you can’t get it, starting today Amazon is offering a free Elite Strap when your purchase the $399 Meta Quest 2 VR headset. The Elite Strap normally costs $60 by itself and is a more comfortable and more adjustable alternative to the stock flex headband.

Amazon is offering an excellent price on a pair of NordicTrack adjustable dumbbells, much lower than a comparable Bowflex SelectTech model. Each dumbbell can be adjusted from 10 to 55 pounds in increments of 2.5 to 5 pounds. If there’s any one piece of exercise equipment you should decide on, free weights would be a very good investment. They’re compact, they cover a wide range of exercises that cover pretty much any area of your upper body, and it’s one less of a reason to take the risk (and the extra cost) of going to your local gym. Free weights in general don’t take up an egregious amount of open floor space, but because these dumbbells are adjustable, you don’t need a rack of individual weights lying around or plates that you have to constantly swap out.
